The Isakoff Estate from Centermill Road, Chadds Ford PA will make up the largest portion of the afternoon session.
Sheldon and Anita Isakoff were married in 1947 and began a life long adventure of travel and collecting. “Shelly”, as he was known to his colleges, graduated Columbia University and began work with the DuPont Company in 1951 as a chemical engineer. His illustrious career with the company ended in 1989 with his retirement as Director of Research and Development.
During those years and beyond, he and Miss Anita became legendary for entertaining with dinner parties full of laughter, good conversation, great music and culinary delights all set in the backdrop of their eclectic décor gathered from around the world. Fine china, art glass and pottery, objects d’art, paintings, rugs, furnishings of whimsy and wonder and Miss Anita’s collection of green depression glass from everywhere.
Saturday will feature a full day of auction of country goods, collectibles, furniture, china, glass, tools…
The warehouse will be as always “over stacked and understated”.
Sunday will feature furniture starting at 10AM with the online catalog portion of the sale starting at
11:30 AM.
